Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

Q: What kind of services do you offer?
A: I offer a full range of mobile detailing services—from interior deep cleans to exterior maintenance washes, full paint corrections, and ceramic coatings. Whether you're looking for a quick refresh or want to bring your car’s paint back to life and protect it long-term, I’ve got options that fit. You can check out the full service menu here.

Q: Are you fully mobile?
A: Yes, I come straight to you—whether you're at home, work, or somewhere in between. Just a heads-up though: I do need access to water and power at the location. Most of my clients just let me hook up to an outdoor faucet and an outlet in the garage or side of the house.

Q: How do I book an appointment?
A: Booking is easy. You can reach out by phone, text, email, or through the contact form on the website. I recommend booking at least a few days in advance, especially if you’re looking to get a paint correction or ceramic coating, since those appointments fill up fast.

Paint Correction & Ceramic Coating

Q: What exactly is paint correction?
A: Paint correction is the process of removing swirl marks, light scratches, haze, and other imperfections in your vehicle’s clear coat. It brings back that deep gloss and clarity your paint may have lost over time. It's not just a quick polish—it's a detailed process that makes a huge visual difference, especially under direct light.

Q: How long does paint correction take?
A: It depends on the condition of your paint and how many stages of correction are needed. A 1-step correction might take around 3-5 hours, while a full 2-step can run 6+ hours or even longer. I’ll give you a more accurate time estimate after I take a look at the vehicle.

Q: What’s a ceramic coating and is it worth it?
A: A ceramic coating is a long-term protective layer that bonds to your paint. It adds serious gloss, makes the car easier to wash, and offers protection against UV rays, chemicals, bird droppings, and more. If you're someone who wants their vehicle to look amazing and stay cleaner longer with minimal effort, ceramic coating is a game-changer.

Q: How long does ceramic coating last?
A: The durability depends on the product used and how the vehicle is maintained. Some coatings last 2 years, others 5+ with proper care. I only use high-quality, professional-grade coatings rated at 5+ years, and I’ll walk you through how to get the most life out of it.

Q: Do I need paint correction before getting ceramic coating?
A: Yes, I strongly recommend it. Ceramic coatings lock in whatever condition your paint is in—so if you’ve got swirl marks or dull spots, they’ll get sealed under the coating. Paint correction makes sure the finish looks flawless first, and then the ceramic protects it long-term. This also ensures the coating has a better bond to the clear coat ensuring a stronger bond.

Interior & Maintenance Details

Q: Do you do interior-only details?
A: For sure. Interior details are one of the most popular services I offer. I deep clean everything—seats, carpets, floor mats, door panels, vents, leather, you name it. Whether your ride just needs a refresh or it’s been a while since your last clean, I can get it looking (and smelling) great again.

Q: How long does an interior detail usually take?
A: It really depends on the size and condition of the vehicle. A light cleanup might take 1.5–2 hours, while a full deep clean with stain removal or pet hair can take 3–4+ hours. I’ll let you know the expected time once I see what we’re working with.

Q: Do you offer any monthly or maintenance plans?
A: Yep! I offer maintenance details for clients who want to keep their car looking fresh all the time. It’s a great option after getting a ceramic coating or paint correction. We can set up something monthly, bi-weekly, or whatever works best for your lifestyle and car usage.

Other Common Questions

Q: What areas do you service?
A: I’m based in the Chicago area and mainly service the city and nearby suburbs. If you’re not sure whether you're in my service range, just reach out and I’ll let you know.

Q: Do you bring your own water and power?
A: I don’t supply my own water or electricity at this time, so I do need access to both on-site. Most homes and businesses have what I need—it’s usually just a garden hose and a standard outlet.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: I accept cash, credit/debit cards, Zelle, Venmo, and checks (for businesses). Whatever's easiest for you works for me.

Q: What’s your cancellation policy?
A: Life happens, I get it. I just ask that you give me at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. No-shows may be subject to a fee, especially for large jobs like coatings or full corrections.
